Enjoy a rare opportunity to see Eric Lindell, the blue-eyed soul-funk purveyor, accomplished multi-instrumentalist, acclaimed songwriter and captivating live performer, in the intimate confines of the Chautauqua Belle Steamboat on beautiful Chautauqua Lake.

Lifelong roots music extraordinaire, Eric Lindell returns to the Belle Bash Summer Concert Series for the first time since 2015. The California native has made waves since calling New Orleans his home in the late 1990s, where that city’s swampy, funky vibe suits Eric’s American roots music to a tee.

Eric has been making outstanding records since first releasing, Bring It Back in 1996. Crafting his own compelling sound and style of roots, soul and country he has won legions of fans across the USA and around the world. Beginning with Change In The Weather (2006 Alligator Records) Lindell’s music has received widespread critical acclaim and attention from the music media, including Rolling Stone, USA Today, the Los Angeles Daily News, Relix Magazine and many others. In 2008, Lindell came to the attention of producers for NBC-TV’s, Late Night With Conan O’Brien, and he subsequently performed on the show in February, 2009.

Backed by a sizzling-hot band on his national tour dates, Lindell continues to win more and more devoted fans, and his annual appearances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival have become legendary peaks of this prestigious event. When not on tour with his own band, Lindell can be seen and heard with New Orleans super group DRAGON SMOKE feat. Ivan Neville, Robert Mercurio and Stanton Moore.

On Matters of the Heart, Lindell continues his long-time collaboration with legendary Texas guitar ace, Anson Funderburgh, who contributes phenomenal lead playing throughout much of the album. Another friend of Lindell's, Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars, the Black Crowes) co-produced tracks on this album and adds some fantastic resonator slide guitar. Aptly titled, Matters of the Heart is a vibrant, compelling journey, a work filled with passion, devotion, and soul.

“A tremendous raw talent…with a fully realized musical vision.” -Chicago Sun Times

“Pumping soul into funk, blues and roots-rock.” -USA

Tim Reynolds - SOLD OUT!!!!

SUNDAY, JULY 9th at 7pm

Enjoy a rare opportunity to see Grammy nominated and multi-instrumentalist musician Tim Reynolds and TR3, in the intimate confines of the Chautauqua Belle Steamboat on beautiful Chautauqua Lake.

One reviewer has declared Reynolds "an under-rated master..."

With a musical career spanning more than thirty-five years, guitarist, sonic innovator, and two time Grammy nominee Tim Reynolds is known for his masterful command of melody and timing and for his uncanny ability to improvise on any instrument he touches. Having explored most musical styles, from rock, jazz and blues to classical and reggae, Reynolds wide-ranging musical versatility is evident each time he picks up his electric or acoustic guitar. Technically brilliant, yet emotionally honest, Reynolds music is inspired and authentic.

"Stratocaster-fueled, fierce slash-and-burn guitar work...dramatic, smoldering Southern soul-rooted intensity…Montoya's voice is as expressive as his guitar."
--Washington Post

"Montoya is a show-stopper...Heartfelt singing and merciless guitar with a wicked icy burn...he swings like a jazz man and stings like the Iceman, Albert Collins. He is one of the truly gifted blues artists of his generation." --Living Blues
